Teenage shogi feeling Sota Fujii ascended to the highest rank of ninth “dan” on Saturday, turning out to be the youngest qualified player of the regular Japanese board match to achieve the feat.
He attained the milestone at 18 many years and 11 months just after defending just one of the two main titles he experienced held in a straight 3- victory more than Akira Watanabe, 37, in a most effective-of-5 sequence.
