A gentleman desired by police following an acid assault before in the week at a Tokyo subway station was arrested Saturday in the southernmost prefecture of Okinawa, investigative resources claimed.
Hirotaka Hanamori, 25, is suspected of throwing sulfuric acid at a 22-year-aged man at Tokyo Metro’s Shirokane-takanawa Station in the capital’s Minato Ward on Tuesday evening.
The suspect is refusing to respond to queries about the allegations in police questioning, the resources said.

Hanamori, who lives in the central Japan metropolis of Shizuoka, allegedly threw acid as the person was riding an escalator, producing him eye accidents. Hanamori and the victim realized each other in faculty, according to the law enforcement.
A lady at the subway station also acquired burns soon after slipping on the acid Hanamori utilized in the assault, the police reported before.
A person thought to be Hanamori was found in stability camera footage around the victim’s office environment in Tokyo on the working day of the assault, the sources said. Following fleeing the scene, Hanamori returned to his household in Shizuoka afterwards that day, they stated.
